Every TENS Unit mode individually has its own amazing benefits to help with relaxation, strengthen and recover muscle, help with pain management, and promote overall health.
We suggest that you initially experiment using all the modes. The mode or a combination of modes that gives you the most desirable sensations and comfort is the most appropriate one to use for your desired therapy session.

Stimulating acupuncture provides the same sensation without needles, by utilizing electronic pulses to achieve the sensation of differing needle depths.

By stimulating specific acupuncture points, it corrects imbalances in the flow of Qi through channels known as meridians. Please read the acupuncture chart.

Ankle

 

Ankle waveform

Stimulate pain points in the ankle or tendonitis etc. for pain relief or muscle relaxation.

Arm Pull

 

Arm pull is one of the most impressive strength moves in physical fitness history.

Good for wrist/elbow/shoulder joints. Make arm strong.

Back Pain

 

Back pain

Stimulate pain points in the lumbar area for pain relief or muscle relaxation.

Body Building

 

Combination of acupuncture and other waveforms.

It helps lose weight or tone, strengthen and firm muscles at abs, back, thighs and arms etc.

Combination

 

Auto combination of several modes of relaxation.

Full body relaxation after workout: exercises & fitness or after a day of hard work.

Cupping

 

Stimulating cupping, relatively constant stimulation contracts muscles.

Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite etc.

Deep Tissue Massage

 

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the keeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension.

Deep tissue massage can provide relief from pain and stiffness associated with sports injuries, whiplash, osteoarthritis, muscle spasms, fibromyalgia and strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Effleurage

 

“Effleurage” is derived from the French verb “effleurer” which means “to stroke” or “to skim over”.

Stimulating the nerves in the tissues worked; stimulating blood supply to the tissue worked

Elbow

Stimulate pain points in the elbow area for pain relief or muscle relaxation.

Elbow Massage

 

Deep tissues massage therapy. The deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension.

Deep tissue massage can provide relief from pain and stiffness associated with sports injuries, whiplash, osteoarthritis, muscle spasms, fibromyalgia and strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Finger Massage

 

This is one of the most common skills in Chinese traditional therapy. It is a gentle skill and most used on leg, back and stomach.

It helps relax skin and muscle, improve blood circulation.

Finger Release

 

Pull fingers and give a light pressure after the fingers are relaxed.

This skill is very good for finger joints relax.

Flicking

 

Flick hands rhythmically up and down in rapid succession.

Percussion movements are very stimulating and make body relaxing. Tapotement is extremely useful for athletes before an event.

Foot

 

Foot waveform

Stimulate pain points to ease pain due to diabetic etc. for pain relief or muscle relaxation.

Friction

 

The purpose of deep friction massage is to maintain the mobility within the soft tissue structures of ligament, tendon, and muscle and prevent adherent scars from forming.

The frequency and duration of treatment varies with the severity and type of the injury. In a recent injury, i.e., ligament sprain, start daily with gentle massage to keep mobility. It is important for the therapist to distinguish between tenderness and pain.

Guasha

 

Stimulating with a low frequency setting provides the user with a scratching and kneading sensation. Guasha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing.

Guasha is effective in acute and chronic internal organ disorders. Patients may see immediate relief that patients feel from pain, stiffness, fever, chill, cough, wheeze, nausea and vomiting etc.

Hip

Kneading

 

Massage or squeeze with the hands.

This skill is always used with Tuina and Tapping, most used on neck and back.

It is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques.

Can enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability, promote relaxation and well-being, and as a recreational activity.

Shiatsu

 

Stimulating Shiatsu is a type of alternative medicine consisting of finger and palm pressure, stretches, and other massage techniques.

Shiatsu can help facilitate healing from many minor ailments. From headaches and back pain to digestive, sinus and skin problems.

Shoulder

 

Shoulder waveform

Stimulate pain points in the shoulder area for pain relief or muscle relaxation.

Skin Rolling

 

Rolling the skin and muscle on the lower back.

It is helpful for back pain and waist pain relief.

Soft Tissue Massage

 

Soft tissue massage with light pressure and smooth strokes.

Relaxing massage with kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.

Sports

Tapping

 

Stimulating tapping is intended to produce a hard thumping sensation that massages your muscles, which can give you an invigorated and revitalized feeling.

It’s especially effective for muscle relaxing.

Thai Massage

 

Thai massage is based on Chinese medicine and the concept that energy flows through our body along meridians.

This flow of energy is stimulated by using pressure points along the meridian pathways while actively stretching the body.

Tuina

 

Stimulating Tuina is a hands-on body treatment which opens the flow of Qi through the meridians.

It’s especially effective for joint pain, sciatica, muscle spasms, and pain in the back, neck, and shoulders. It also helps chronic conditions such as insomnia, constipation, headaches, and the tension associated with stress.

Vibration

 

Vibrations are a massage technique in which tissues of the body are pressed and released in an “up and down” movement. This often takes the form of a fine trembling movement applied using the palmar surfaces or just some of the fingertips of either or both hands.

Soothing irritated nerves; loosening scar tissue; relaxing muscles in the forearm; stimulating circulation; stimulating glandular activity.

Wrist
